Hi :)

We're new here at livejournal - and we've been looking for communities with similar mindsets:)

First of all - a little about us:) We're a group of university students who have set out to produce (and publish) a new alternative newspaper (and e-zine) of the name WINK (short for World Inclusiveness). WINK addresses issues such as natural living, environmental problems AND their solutions, social justice, positive news (unfortunately in our 'conventional' daily newspapers there isn't enough of this), inspiring initiatives and stories and much more. Olive skin helps fight colon cancer

A study from the University of Granada and the University of Barcelona revealed that compounds in olive skin inhibits cell proliferation and causes death in colon cancer cells. A set of compounds isolated – -triterpenoids –- are present in a wide range of plants used in traditional medicine and are known to have anti-tumoral properties.
